Waiting at the Lord’s Table

How we view the Lord's Supper (communion) can lead to division and neglect and even death. Therefore, it is imperative that we restore our sacred reverence in the participation of the Lord's Supper. But this reverence isn’t reflected by greater religious zeal. Rather, it is reflected in a life that waits on others, not as a matter of patience but of active empathy and care for others. A life actively broken and poured out for others just as Jesus did for us.
